Brief Note on the session by the speaker:

Cognitive Computing is one of the emerging technologies, which is getting adapted by Startups and Enterprises. IBM has been in the forefront in developing technologies around Cognitive Computing. In this session, one will get an Introduction to Cognitive Computing, demos around IBM Cognitive computing platform with examples of how a few Startups are adapting Cognitive solution as their core product.

Smart Devices and Sensors come in every shape and size, from nanochips and smart dust to gigantic machines. The number of connected things will grow exponentially from 15 billion in 2015 to 200 billion in 2020. Get an introduction on Internet of Things. You will get a quick overview of how to build applications on Internet of Things using IBM Bluemix services.

 

About Global Entrepreneur Program and how it would impact startups/developers/faculty attending:

IBM Global Entrepreneur offer IBM Bluemix (which now includes Softlayer) credits to Startups. They provide this for registered Startups less than 5 years having revenue less 1 million USD Cloud and not existing customers of IBM Cloud.
The credits provided by us 1000/month for a year upto $10000/month after going through additional Q&A and approvals.
